Our 100% cotton embroidery floss is a six strand divisible thread made from premium Egyptian long-staple fibers. This high quality thread is made up of six easily separated strands, which allows you to customize the thickness of the thread by choosing the number of strands.

Each skein has 8.75 yards and is 100% colorfast and fade resistant. Double mercerized for a lustrous sheen.

Our floss is 100% cotton made from premium Egyptian long-staple fibers, spun as a six-strand divisible thread. Each skein holds 8.75 yards.

Divisible is the whole point. Pull the strands apart and you control the weight of your line — one or two strands for fine outlines and delicate lettering, three for general stitching, all six for bold satin fills and friendship bracelets. One skein covers all of it.

It's double mercerized, which is where the sheen comes from, and it's fully colorfast and fade resistant. Good for hand embroidery, friendship bracelets, tassels, needlepoint, tying quilts, and plenty else.
